Needed a new battery which I got quick and got back on my way.

I went here to get a replacement auxiliary battery for my van (they quoted $420 LESS than the dealership). He opened the hood to install it and immediately informed me that my main battery was the wrong type and he recommended waiting to replace the auxiliary battery until I could contact the dealership that originally installed the wrong batteries. He saved me hundreds of dollars and lost a sale but gained a loyal customer. Thank you!

After taking my car to my local mechanic for some routine maintenance, they informed my my battery's charge seemed low and wanted to sell me a new one. We knew we bought it from Battery Warehouse and checked when we bought it. It seemed odd that it would be so low, because the car was showing no signs of difficult starting. We met the owner, and she was as pleasant and professional as can be and took very good care of us and our dog Lyndie was thrilled to meet her. She informed us she would check our battery first, and it turns out, our battery was just fine. She said that the terminals were a bit loose and wondered what the cause of that might be. I will just say that our local mechanic was the last one to touch the battery and leave it at that. If you need a battery and appreciate honesty, being treated like you matter, and feeling like you are meeting a new friend, I recommend you come to Battery Warehouse in Westminster.

The only place in Hagerstown I will go to get a vehicle battery. Have had batteries drop cells within warranty period and they replaced them free of charge, no hassle. Prices are fair and often better than any of the big box stores in town. Guys working the counter are knowledgeable and have tested equipment batteries for me. I highly recommend buying from them.

I really have to give it to this place. I wanted to buy a battery for my 83 Suzuki shuttle and it took a very specific size. I didn’t want to wait for it from the internet and I finally found the exact Yuasa battery here for a fraction of the online price. The best part about it was the guy who helped me. He knew his stuff. He even filled the battery with acid and also recommended a charger for it (which worked perfectly). He mentioned he had been working there for over 20 years. Great employee and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Replaced batteries in keyless entry I didn't even know needed to be replaced AND showed me how to get into the locked car if the keyless entry stops working. SO HELPFUL.

Went to Battery Warehouse and the guys are very knowledgeable and friendly here. I had an issue with a battery I purchased, may be due to too many electronics plugged into my vehicle, or maybe it was a bad battery. I can’t say enough good things about Battery Warehouse in York, PA! First, the price of the car battery beat quotes we had gotten elsewhere. We bought the battery and tried to install it ourselves, but it didn’t work quite right. We brought it back in and Frank Dunlop, the manager, was amazing!



They pulled the car right into the bay, replaced the battery on the spot, and made sure everything was running perfectly. The staff was friendly, quick, and professional, and they treated us like valued customers instead of just another sale.

I had a fantastic experience at this location. My battery terminal was cracked making it difficult to start my car. None of the local places I called replaced that part so I called the dealer and they quoted me $90 for the part and $90 in labor claiming the job was complicated because they had to do rewiring. Also they couldn't get me in for a week. Thank God based on a high recommendation I wound up at Battery Warehouse where Jacob Parrish helped me immediately. He fixed the problem inside 15 minutes, it wasn't complicated at all, and the parts only cost $8.45!!! Jacob and his coworker were such a blessing and saved me a ton of money. I'm thankful to Jesus for them both and HIGHLY recommend doing business at this location.

Absolutely amazing customer service from Colin today! A different mechanic charged me $180 for a diagnostic fee and missed that there was corrosion on the battery terminal.
